05/19 DEME New Lock project, Terneuzen
The construction of the Nieuwe Sluis (New Lock) at the lock complex in Terneuzen began late 2017. The new locks will be one of the largest in the world and are built by a consortium that includes the DEME company. DEME assigned Van Tunen for the necessary dredging activities. Of course, we complied. Here you see our CAT6015B in action from a crane pontoon, but our CAT6015B is also at the scene to contribute.
